SAND is a twice-annual literary and art journal based in Berlin. Founded in 2009 by Becky Crook, the journal aims to break down barriers within the often-hierarchical and homogeneous publishing world by committing to inclusivity, collaboration, and mutual support while publishing work that is as diverse, experimental, international, and subversive as Berlin itself.
Created 3D Animation with Blender
Concept strategy and design of newsletter, website and social media content to transform SAND’s print journal into a digital archive. The online platform was designed with the journal’s bold and contemporary aesthetic, aimed at increasing accessibility to SAND’s literary works for a wider international audience.
